OutWeek had one of the best stables of cartoonists ever assembled for the gay press. Every week illustrators like Alison Bechdel, Mark Burdett, Jennifer Camper, Tom Kalin, Kris Kovick and Daniel Sotomayor graced its pages.

They were all great, but my personal favorite was Andrea Natalie and her "Stonewall Riots" cartoon. Andrea's single panels were generally on our letters page in the front, and each week they plumbed the myths and truths of gay life, skewered political correctness and made readers laugh out loud - often at ourselves.
